The Perfect Fitted Skirt! ♡

Hello my loves! I know it has been a while since I posted anything here in my blog...

Today I felt the need to write this post here in my blog because I feel like I don't express myself and say everything I want to say on my Youtube Channel. I still feel very shy and awkward when I film, and I forget to mention things that I wanted to say in the beginning hehe... I am just weird like that! So I will try to post more often on here to express myself more just in case you wanted to know more about the product, tutorial, or anything that I show on my channel :) 

I have never had a skirt that fits my body this good! I am still amazed by the quality, fit, and feel of this skirt from Rita and Phill! When I took it out of the packaging, I was in awe with the style and the quality of it! They even wrote a cute little note. I couldn't wait to try it on, and the fit was just perfect <3 It even smelled good! I believe they perfumed it! No way! You can really see the attention and detail they had when creating this skirt! This is truly a skirt made with love and care! 

The skirt feels amazing on! I love how it really fist my skinny body. I am slim, with very skinny legs, if you can tell in the pictures. And I am not going to lie, I did thought to my self that maybe it wasn't going to look good on me, because I always have a hard time picking up clothes, they either fit loose on the waist, loose on the legs, or just don't fit as nice as I would love to. But I was impressed when I tried it on! It is very comfortable, and makes me feel confident when I wear it! It fits so good! It fits on the waist and hips perfectly! Making the illusion that I have a curvier body :)

I was given the opportunity to choose a skirt from Rita and Phill in the style and color of my choice. I chose the "Jennifer custom skirt" in checkered brown. As soon as I saw it on the website, it immediately called my name hehe. I felt in love with that particular style and color! It is just in my style! Perfect! It is high waisted, perfect to cover a little tummy. It has a removable cute little bow on the left side of the waist. Adorable faux pockets, that in my opinion, they make the hips look wider!   And the slits on the back of the skirt are what really caught my attention! It has two slits! It is fully lined with a silky fabric, which I loved the color they chose for my skirt because it is in a light pink silky material! hehe.

Madam Glam Nail Polishes ♡

I was contacted by Madam Glam again and they ask me if I wanted some of their new shades of the regular nail polishes, of course I said yes, because their products are such good quality and they are amazing! They sent me the shades of their choice, and me, a girl who appreciates everything I couldnt be any more happier! This will be my 'to go to' nail polishes this fall! I loved every color!

Madam Glam nail polishes are all cruelty free and vegan! I received four shades, two purple tones, a blue turquoise one and a dark red shade. Now let me tell you, these have been the best nail polishes I have tried! I used the red one and it lasted me a whole week without chipping and cracking! I was amazed, my nails looked cute! I think I could have gone another week with it! And as a housewife I clean, wash, scrub, etc. and nail polish never last me more than three days before it chips off and cracks all ugly. So yes, these are pretty rad!

Pink Cabinets!

Pink Kitchen in the making!

For so long I have been wanting a pink kitchen with pink cabinets, appliances, and accessories! haha, but its a bit hard doing everything at once! so I decided to start by painting my cabinets in the color pink. Now thats a great start!

Let me just start by telling you guys how all this pink kitchen dream started... I used to go the the public library often, and i would always rent books, VHS, then DVDs when they came out, and magazines, and one time I rented a magazine (can't remember which one) but in it came an article of Dita Von Teese home, and it was the most wonderfull  amazing, beautiful home I have seen! I teared those papers out and obviously took the magazine back (no shame) and saved the papers. 

So now that I am able to do such thing to my kitchen, I went ahead and went to Home Depot for all my supplies to paint my kitchen cabinets. Everything was around 65 U.S. dollars. I bought the paint in the color Youth Blush P170-1º from the BEHR paints, in Semi-gloss. I bought the 1 gallon bucket  $35, but only used half, now I have some paint left for the bathroom! yay! I bought sanding paper in 100grit Medium but for wood I think it is usually the 120 fine. And a kit that had all the supplies to paint (a $30 value kit for $15)

I didn't took any pictures while working. But I first removed all the doors and hardware from the cabinets and made sure they where numbered so it won't be hard knowing which one goes where. Then I sanded all the cabinets just to remove the shine from the old color and for the new color to adhere. After that I cleaned them with a sponge and water, but if they had oil and too much dirt I cleaned them up with some soap and water.

Now that they where all sanded and dust free, I taped everywhere I didn't want the paint to stain, I painted them with a small roller and also with a brush to get those tight gaps and edges. It took me two days to do this project, probably 3-4 hours per day. But it was worth it because the results are just what I imagined! My kitchen is still in remodeling status, so until them I will post when my kitchen is complete, but FYI I am still going to stick with my black appliances, until I have money for vintage inspired ones.

   Welcome to my blog! I have decided to start blogging of anything I really want to show you guys!  And I mean anything, Photography as well! I am so new to this so bare with me lol, I hope you guys enjoy it and tell me what you would like me to blog about!

   I just want to start with this introductory, and present myself, my name is Jenny Lopez, I am a mother and wife. I am in my mid 20's, yeah yeah, I know I look way younger! ah! but hey thats good,  I for sure know i won't look old when i get older ha! ok ill stop. I live in sunny Arizona, oh yeah! a desert here! but I love this state, its pretty and has so many things to explore. I was born in Los Angeles California, and came to live in Arizona since I was young so basically almost all my live Ive lived here. My family is from Zacatecas, Mex. yes were are Mexicans! and That is my number one place I love and will always have a special place in my heart!

   I really love the color pink, no lie, hehe, I felt the need to warn you guys! I like being crafty and taking photos! so hopefully that is something you guys enjoy to see! I have always loved drawing, taking photos, and just anything with creativity but I have no idea on all this high tech, and hopefully I learn and show everything I love, my passion!

   I am extremely shy! I seem to not have anything to talk about when strangers approach me, or when       someone wants to chit chat, ugh! I can't have nice conversations but I was made this way and even thought I wish I was more talkative, God Made me like this... Oh but hey, I can write a lot!
